Cloud Architect PositionA cloud engineer will be part of the EDP data platform team for a major insurance client.The person will work with different stakeholders to architect and build the EDP application platform to support the client's internal data teams to onboard, provision data in Data Cloud.The application would be architected using Micro Services Architecture to support different workloads like Data marts, Data warehouse, AI/ML.The person will also participate actively in brainstorming sessions for improvement opportunities and see them through to completion.A suitable candidate should have 4+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level applications and possess a go-getter attitude.They should be able to handle ambiguity.The role requires common skillsets such as superior analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and prepare client-ready deliverables with minimal or no supervision.It also requires application development skillsets such as experience in designing, implementing, and testing of Python applications with understanding of object-oriented programming, multi-tier architecture, parallel/multi-threaded programming.The ideal candidate should have experience with AWS technologies including AppSync, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, and knowledge of modern cloud-native data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
