Role & Responsibilities

Working as an Individual contributor and would be reporting to a Project Manager

Would be responsible for coding, testing and development/sustenance of high quality and secure products/solutions.

Follow source code management, sonar reviews and documentation updates to adhere to processes

Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring that these are met.

Key knowledge & skills

Development skills

Strong Development experience on Java and J2EE technologies (Wildfly, Nginx, NodeJS).

Hand's on Programming with Core Java, J2EE, REST API’s, JSP, Servlets, Multithreading, with excellent debugging skills

Strong development skills using Ansible, Python and shell scripting.

Knowledge of Databases including Redis, VolteDB, InfluxDB and Prometheus a plus

In depth knowledge of software security and security standards, tools and certifications.

Domain skills

Awareness on Telecom Domain: Telecom domain experience and familiarity with protocols.

Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SAFe, Agile).

Environment: Strong Linux /RHEL environment work experience must. Kubernetes/Container knowledge will be good to have.

Webservers: Tomcat, JBoss, Wildfly

Build Environment: GIT, Ant/Maven build, RPM

Protocol: Knowledge of SIP/Rest is preferrable.

Optional: VXML/CCXML/MSML/MSCML and little java exposure will be good to have but not must.
