Job Title: Computational Fluid Dynamics EngineerOverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support high-fidelity aerodynamic simulations and analysis.You will work closely with our engineering team to set up, run, and validate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) cases involving external aerodynamics of wings, airfoils, and aircraft configurations.The role involves mesh generation, solver setup, post-processing, and extracting key aerodynamic quantities to support ongoing R&D projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CFD simulations using OpenFOAM for external aerodynamic applications.Generate structured and unstructured meshes using blockMesh and snappyHexMesh.Set up incompressible and compressible flow solvers, boundary conditions, and turbulence models.Conduct mesh independence studies, simulation validation, and result verification.Extract and analyze aerodynamic performance metrics such as lift coefficient (CL), drag coefficient (CD), pressure distributions, and flow visualization.Post-process results using ParaView or similar tools.Collaborate with engineering teams to design, optimize, and evaluate aerodynamic concepts.Document simulations, results, and workflow methodologies.
