Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Derivative Dealer to join our leading institutional broking firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs), and Mutual Funds, primarily focusing on their arbitrage business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Spread Dynamics: Develop a deep understanding of cash and futures spreads, including factors influencing their movement.
- Dividend Impact Analysis: Assess the impact of dividend events on spreads and rollovers, and implement effective strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Volume Generation: Actively generate trading volume through arbitrage churn, identifying profitable opportunities and executing trades efficiently.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with FIIs, DIIs, and Mutual Funds, providing excellent client service and addressing their needs.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators that may impact the arbitrage business.
- Risk Management: Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate potential losses and protect the firm's interests.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Derivative Dealer, with a strong focus on arbitrage trading.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian equity and derivative markets, including products, strategies, and regulations.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund churn volumes and the ability to generate high-volume trades.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
