We Are Hiring — Chemist (Research & Development Specialist) OXICOL CAR CARE PRODUCTS — Manjeri, Malappuram Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000(based on Experience)+ Benefits We are looking for a Chemistry Graduate (B.Sc / M.Sc) to join our team, focusing mainly on Research & Development , with basic support in QC testing. Role & Responsibilities : Develop and improve car care formulations (polishes, cleaners, coatings) and other chemical products. Formulate and test automotive, industrial, decorative, and wood coatings , similar to the experience shown in the reference profile. Conduct batch trials, adjust formulations, and ensure consistent product quality. Perform detailed QC and performance tests : Viscosity, density, pH Gloss, hardness, DFT (Dry Film Thickness) Color matching and shade accuracy Stability and performance testing under different conditions Evaluate raw materials, surfactants, resins, solvents, pigments, additives, etc., for suitability and performance. Optimize formulations for cost efficiency, sustainability, and improved performance , based on market and customer requirements. Troubleshoot issues in existing products and support scale-up from lab to production , ensuring smooth manufacturing. Maintain complete technical documentation — formulations, trials, results, changes, and batch reports. Coordinate with QC, production, and management teams for successful implementation of new and improved products. Research and stay updated on new coating technologies, nanomaterial applications, pigments, additives, and chemical innovations .
