Position: Academic Coordinator (Grades 1–8)Location: Kothari International School, PanvelCategory: Academic LeadershipJob OverviewThe Academic Coordinator will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and monitoring academic programs for Grades 1–8. The role involves guiding teachers, ensuring curriculum alignment with school standards, and fostering a dynamic learning environment that promotes student engagement, creativity, and excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee curriculum planning, execution, and review across Grades 1–8.Coordinate between teachers, subject heads, and the school leadership to ensure smooth academic functioning.Support teachers in designing effective lesson plans and assessments aligned with the school's learning outcomes.Monitor classroom teaching and learning processes to maintain high academic standards.Plan and implement academic enrichment programs, assessments, and co-curricular integration.Conduct regular academic audits and prepare reports on student progress and performance.Mentor and support teachers through classroom observations, feedback sessions, and professional development initiatives.Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively regarding academic matters and student progress.Ensure timely completion of syllabus, documentation, and examination schedules.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff and students.Qualifications & ExperienceMaster's Degree in Education or relevant field.B.Ed. mandatory.Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience in Grades 1–8, with at least 2–3 years in an academic leadership or coordination role.Strong knowledge of modern pedagogical practices and curriculum frameworks (CBSE/International boards preferred).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Proficiency in using digital tools for academic planning and reporting.Personal AttributesLeadership with empathy and approachability.Visionary mindset with attention to detail.Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team-driven environment.Passionate about education and student development.Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹12, ₹40,000.00 per monthBenefits:Provident FundExpected Start Date: 01/11/2025
