Job DescriptionAs a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting and building a scalable data cloud solution that supports internal data teams.You will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement the EDP Data Platform for a major insurance client. This will involve developing enterprise-level applications using object-oriented programming, multi-tier architecture, and parallel/multi-threaded programming.Experience in life insurance is preferred but not mandatory. You should have 4+ years of experience in developing large-scale applications and possess a go-getter attitude. You will be able to deal with ambiguity and have superior analytical and problem-solving skills.In this role, you will participate actively in brainstorming sessions for improvement opportunities and take them to completion. You will also have solid experience with AWS technologies including AppSync, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bridge.Required Skills and QualificationsDeveloping enterprise-level applications using object-oriented programming, multi-tier architecture, and parallel/multi-threaded programming.Designing and implementing scalable data cloud solutions that support internal data teams.Experience with AWS technologies including AppSync, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bridge.Knowledge of modern cloud-native data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse Analytics.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with team members.BenefitsYou will have the opportunity to work on designing, implementing, and testing Python applications using various programming paradigms.
