About Murex Development RoleWe are seeking a senior specialist to undertake all aspects of development, with a sole focus on the Murex platform.Responsibilities:Provide technical expertise on all areas of the Murex platform used by the organizationLiaise directly with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirementsManage all stages of development from requirements gathering through to deliveryAct as second-line support to provide SME technical experience and guidance where necessarySeek to improve and enhance existing processes and alignment to best practice on the Murex platformThe ideal candidate should have an expert understanding of Murex v3.1, with more than 5 years' experience focusing on datamart reporting including dynamic tables, simulations & data dictionary, relation database model employed by Murex, pre-trade and post trade MXML workflows, market data sheets, curve construction and curve assignments, product knowledge - Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives, proven track record of delivering to financial institutions, understanding of 3rd party batch schedulers (Control-M or similar), software development methodology (SDM) and appreciation of change management process and software release processes (version control).
