Job responsibilities:As a Senior Engineer, you will leverage your development expertise to build highly functional, scalable solutions. The Senior Engineer should have a team-first mentality and be willing to help other team members to improve the delivery success. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and front-end framework Angular.Build and maintain secure and scalable REST APIs.Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and Product owners/ Managers.Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices including secure code guidelines.Participating in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements.Create technical documentation in the code per coding standards and assist as needed in the documentation creation for the products’ customers.RequirementsHave completed a in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.4-8 years of development experience.Experience developing applications that interact with RESTful APIs.Demonstrated experience in REST API development and microservices architecture.Experience with front-end development, particularly in Angular.Experience with other AWS services such as S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skillsBackendServer-side Framework – Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVCMicroservice Architecture, Rest API DesignUnit Testing Framework, Junit, Jasmine / Karma, MockitoPerformance Tuning & Profiling – Visual VM, JMETER, LighthouseLogging, Troubleshooting – New Relic, Dynatrace, Kibana, Cloud WatchFront End SkillsMicro frontend ArchitectureHTML, CSS, Java script, TypescriptResponsive Web DesignAngularDatabaseRelational database – Oracle, MySql, Postgres, DB2Nosql database – MongoDB, RedisCloud Platform, Deployment and DevOpsCloud Platforms – AWS (ECS, EC2, Cloud front, Cloud Watch,S3, IAM, Route 53, ALB)DevOps – Docker containers, SonarQube, Jenkins, Git, Github, Github-actions, CI/CD pipelines, TerraformAlight requires all virtual interviews to be conducted on video.BenefitsWe offer programs and plans for a healthy mind, body, wallet and life because it’s important our benefits care for the whole person.
