As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security-related data in real-time. Your duties will include identifying potential threats, escalating incidents, and maintaining situational awareness throughout the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesReal-Time Monitoring and Threat DetectionUtilize SIEM platforms to monitor security events and identify anomalies.Distinguish between true positives and false positives through log correlation and event validation.Escalate verified incidents to higher-level teams as per incident response playbooks.Incident Triage and DocumentationPerform initial triage of alerts related to malware, phishing, endpoint anomalies, lateral movement, access abuse, and network-based threats.Document investigations thoroughly within IT service management systems.Endpoint and Network Security SupportMonitor and respond to signals from endpoint detection and response tools.Review firewall, intrusion detection/prevention system, and proxy logs.Support initial containment steps under supervision—isolating endpoints, blocking malicious domains/IPs, disabling accounts, etc.Data Loss Prevention, Access Control, and Cloud Security OversightMonitor DLP alerts via Forcepoint or equivalent solutions.Validate RBAC violations, privilege escalations, and suspicious access attempts.Review cloud-specific alerts in Azure Security Center, API security dashboards, and identity protection tools.Reporting, Compliance, and Continuous ImprovementPrepare incident summaries, shift handover reports, and event logs with clear timelines and evidence.Follow standard operating procedures aligned to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR.Contribute to SIEM rule tuning, alert optimization, and detection enhancements.
