Position Overview: 

We are looking for a reliable manager who will analyse everyday financial activities and provide comprehensive accounting management & financial reporting to leadership. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilise your expertise in the thoroughness of overseeing & maintaining accounts + accounting processes, your depth of financial analysis and your ability to plan strategically. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company’s long-term growth & profitability targets. Monitoring accounting & financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalising on financial opportunities on behalf of the company will be integral to your responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure disciplined adherence to the company’s accounting SOPs and existing internal control mechanisms, and suggest methods to improve finance processes to streamline operations.
  • To ensure thorough monitoring of all company accounts, including ensuring full compliance & responsibility for TDS, GST, income tax and related statutory & adjacent processes.
  • Liaise with accountants/auditors & honour data requests with both precision and punctuality.
  • Analyse costs, pricing, revenues & margins, and the company’s performance vs. business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances, including financial analysis, financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting: “FP&A” i.e. Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Develop and implement accounting practices aligning with supply chain operations, forecasting, budgeting for procurement, logistics & inventory management, including analysis of supplier/vendor contracts to optimise for better financial outcomes.
  • Providing financial reports & interpreting operational data to leadership, including ground-up preparations of the company’s budgets and annual operating plans.
  • Provide tracking data & reports around monitoring the financial health of the organisation with regular reviews of both finance processes & people, along with detailed SOPs for the same.
  • Understand the operations of the finance function, set clear targets and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met. Measure and report performance of all relevant initiatives, and assess ROI and KPIs. Conduct regular reviews and evaluate any cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Recommend software platforms for ERPs, finance mgmt—& end-to-end accounting processes.
  • Lead a young, energetic accounting team, creating a culture of punctuality, collaboration, and a results-driven work ethic. Be a team player, corresponding with other verticals to discuss/agree on future paths—Familiarise the team with financial language, terms and industry standards.


Key Requirements & Skills:

  • A high-integrity, high-ethics & intelligent mind with the ability to treat market-sensitive/company information with trust and deepest confidentiality maintained at all times.
  • Only CAs preferred
  • Proven experience as a financial manager at an organisation, with extensive understanding of financial trends, and software/tools used at the company and in the general market.
  • Proficient user of finance software, including mastery of Tally, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets/other, with a solid understanding of financial statistics & accounting principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting standards including Indian GAAPs/US GAAPs/IFRS.
  • Great people/communication & presentation skills (emails, slides) in English (read, write, speak)
  • Ability to manage/guide employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • Clear knowledge of all statutory legislation & regulation, regularly updated from the market.
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous roles such as financial analyst (preferred)
