Job Description:The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they possess both knowledge and technical depth about the industry. As a central figure, they will be responsible for making decisions and working with various individuals across different teams when necessary.Responsibilities:Experience in plant & machinery department, specifically high-rise towers.Erection, dismantling, maintenance & operation of Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms etc.Methodology of equipment erection, operation & preparation of checklists.Controlling spare parts inventory & cost optimization, sourcing of plant & machinery operators, mechanics etc.Generating all local MIS reports to Mechanical Heads at HQ / Project In-charges.Maintaining site records of equipment such as log books, preventive maintenance records and upkeep of equipment at zonal sites.Making budget estimates of each month for spares and running expenses for each machine and monitoring them on a monthly basis.Training personnel, workers, operators how to use equipment safely to avoid accidents and mishaps, and also on matters of repairs/servicing to be followed, along with records to be maintained.Ensuring optimum use of P&M corresponding to their rated productivity output.Ensuring minimum breakdown of equipment and maximum availability of equipment at site.Making service schedules for each month based on hours/KMs running, implementing those strictly to achieve minimum breakdown of equipment's, machinery & vehicles.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) organized.Strong leadership skills.Minimum 10 years of experience.
