As a BigQuery Migration Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of our reporting data sources from Teradata to Google Cloud's BigQuery platform.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategies for migrating complex reporting data sets from Teradata to BigQueryCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate existing Power BI reports against new BigQuery data models and ensure optimal performanceDesign and implement innovative table structures, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reportsConduct rigorous quality assurance validation to guarantee data accuracy and performance parity post-migrationPartner with BI and infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and drive seamless integrationTroubleshoot and resolve intricate issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivityThis full-time remote position requires fluency in English for direct collaboration with an international team. Preferred candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in GCP - BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Teradata, SQL, and Power BI.
