🌍 About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Talend, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery, and Microsoft Azure to join our growing data engineering team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance data pipelines and cloud-based data architectures that power analytics and business decision-making across the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders — ensuring data is accurate, scalable, and always available for insight generation. 🎯 What You’ll Do Develop and Optimize SQL Solutions: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies to ensure top-tier performance. Build & Maintain ETL Pipelines: Design and manage robust ETL/ELT workflows using Talend, integrating data from multiple systems. Architect Cloud Data Platforms: Manage and optimize data storage and workflows on GCP BigQuery and Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics. Automate Workflows: Use tools like Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory to orchestrate and schedule automated data processes. Ensure Data Quality & Governance: Implement standards for data security, consistency, and compliance across cloud environments. Collaborate & Mentor: Partner with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. 🧩 Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience in data engineering or database development. Expert-level SQL knowledge — including optimization, indexing, and stored procedures. Hands-on experience with Talend for ETL/ELT pipeline development. Strong working knowledge of GCP BigQuery and Azure SQL/Synapse Analytics. Solid understanding of data modeling (relational and dimensional) and cloud data architecture. Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation. Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices for data workflows. 🌟 Nice to Have Experience with Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory for orchestration. Exposure to real-time data streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Event Hubs). Cloud certifications such as Google Professional Data Engineer or Azure Data Engineer Associate. 💡 Why Join Us? Work on cutting-edge data engineering projects in a modern cloud environment. Lead innovation in SQL-driven, cloud-first data solutions. Collaborate within a dynamic, agile team focused on impact and scalability. Access opportunities for career growth, leadership, and cloud certifications.
