We are already transforming procurement for major brands like Fairfield, Hampton Inn, and Hilton.About the RoleWe are looking for a Data Engineer/ML Engineer who is passionate about applying AI to real-world business problems. You will play a critical role in building and improving machine learning models that optimize procurement processes, enhance data-driven decision-making, and improve operational efficiencies.You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions at scale. This role is perfect for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and excited to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What you will doDevelop and implement machine learning models to optimize procurement processes, such as price predictions, anomaly detection, and recommendations.Design and maintain data pipelines to preprocess and clean structured and unstructured data.Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven insights into our platform.Optimize model performance and contribute to ML monitoring and retraining strategies.Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning, AI, and data science.Assist in deploying models into production and improving MLOps workflows.What you will need2+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or related fields.Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.Basic experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), or MLOps tools is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.Eagerness to learn and grow both technically and professionally.Why Lilo?Opportunity to work remotely for a fast-growing US-based startup.High-impact role with opportunities to grow and take on more responsibility.Stock options for the right candidate.A collaborative, global, and multi-cultural environment.
