Role DescriptionWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Node.js to manage our AWS infrastructure, set up CI/CD pipelines and ensure the reliability of our backend systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud-based solutions, backend development, and continuous delivery practices to drive efficiency and scalability. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation, software development, continuous integration, system administration and Linux operations.ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM).Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.Develop, maintain and deploy Node.js applications and REST APIs.Monitor infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudWatch and Grafana.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.Implement server, API, and database security best practices.Implement load balancing, auto-scaling and failover mechanisms.Configure IAM roles and policies for secure AWS operations.Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of backend APIs with frontend applications.Implement security best practices for servers, APIs, and databases.QualificationsHands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFront and Lambda.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) proficiencySoftware Development and Continuous Integration skillsHands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)System Administration and Linux expertiseFamiliarity with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).Strong skills in Node.js and Express.js.Proficiency in MongoDB or PostgreSQLStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesWhat we haveCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Collaborative, fun, entrepreneurial and innovative work environment with like-minded coworkers.Opportunities for career advancement and growth.Industry experienced people to guide and mentor you towards the achievement of results.
