Senior Backend Systems Developer

As a seasoned developer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems from scratch. This involves interacting with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyzing the impact of changes, and providing realistic timelines for execution.To achieve this, you will need to plan and execute extensive load testing for services, ensuring that they are resilient, self-healing, and have loose coupling. Additionally, you will analyze existing systems to identify improvements and performance/maintenance issues, fixing or rebuilding them as needed.Furthermore, you will write extensive test cases to ensure that systems can be easily modified in the future with confidence and without ambiguity. You will also build ETL pipelines to collect data in a data lake, using it to power BI and generate reports.Maintaining clear and concise documentation of technical specifications, code changes, and architectural decisions is also essential. To excel in this role, you will require:3-5 years of hands-on experience in backend technologiesExperience in at least one of Java, Elixir, or GolangExperience with debugging and solving issues in a cloud environmentExperience with PostgreSQL or similar databaseExperience with NoSQL databasesA deep understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available environmentExperience with open-source technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka etc. and their adoption into productsA willingness to work in a startup-like environmentBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information TechnologyThe following aspects would be a plus:Prior experience in FinTechExperience in using AWS services such as S3, SNS, SQS etc.Contributed to open-source projectsExperience with big data pipelinesExperience with BI toolsJoin our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions.
