Job OverviewThe Cybersecurity Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. This position supports daily operations, monitoring, and administration of key security platforms.Identify and mitigate email security threats by monitoring and triaging alerts (spam, phishing, malware).Review quarantined messages and assist users with release/false-positive requests to maintain system accuracy.Support configuration updates such as policies, URL defense, and impersonation protection to safeguard user data.Provide critical insights on email threats and security trends through periodic reports.Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications to ensure seamless transitions.Evaluate access requests and enforce approval workflows to maintain secure access standards.Collaborate in periodic access certifications and role-based access reviews to maintain compliance.Monitor IAM alerts and resolve basic access governance issues promptly.Oversee endpoint privilege escalations and policy enforcement across endpoints to maintain security levels.Support the integration of new endpoints into EPM policies to ensure consistent security measures.Maintain least-privilege settings and handle user exceptions while ensuring system security.Analyze endpoint security logs to identify potential security breaches.Contribute to incident response efforts by collecting evidence, performing initial analysis, and collaborating with teams to resolve security incidents.Document established SOPs and update them when processes change to ensure accurate information sharing.Collaborate with security, IT, and operations teams to resolve security concerns.Offer user support and promote adherence to security policies.
