Job Title: Network Support EngineerLocation: BangaloreExperience: 10+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeRole Overview:The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for enterprise network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, WLAN, routing, switching, and firewall environments. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across global operations.Key Responsibilities:• Provide Level 1/Level 2 support for enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/Firewall)• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to SD-WAN, routing, switching, and wireless networks• Monitor and manage network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime• Configure and maintain Cisco network devices – Catalyst Center, LAN Switches (Access/Core), Wireless Controllers, Access Points• Administer and manage Cisco ASA and FortiGate Firewalls, ensuring secure network access and connectivity• Work on Cisco ISE for authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) policies• Utilize FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager for centralized monitoring, reporting, and policy management• Support network upgrades, patching, and configuration changes in alignment with best practices• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated network issues and implement preventive measures• Maintain proper documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutionsTechnical Skills Required:• Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, WLAN, Routing, Switching, and Firewalls• Hands-on experience with RIP, OSPF, and SD-WAN protocols• Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco LAN Switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers, and Access Points• Experience with Cisco ASA and Cisco ISE for network security• Expertise in Fortinet products – FortiGate Firewall, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager• Good understanding of network monitoring tools and ITIL processesQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field• Cisco/Fortinet certifications preferred (CCIE certification )• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
