LOCATION : Banglore, Gurugram, Hyderabad

Job Description:


We are currently seeking a Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on MS Azure. The selected candidate will be involved with implementing and transforming cloud-based environments in Azure. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders within the organisation, but also customer stakeholders, to gather technical requirements, architect solutions and execute on deliverables.


Responsibilities:

· Contribute to the architectural design for hybrid and public cloud environments

· Design and implement new systems and cloud infrastructure in support of customer needs

· Cloud infrastructure implementation and migration, leveraging virtualization, automation, and orchestration technologies in Microsoft Azure. For example, a good knowledge of Azure DevOps and pipelines, IaC (Terraform and ARM) and PowerShell is a must.

· Contribute to the implementation of wide-range of cloud based systems such as Azure AD and ADDS for authentication, Bastion services for management, hybrid networking (ExpressRoute and IP-SEC VPN tunnels), Azure Defender, Azure Monitor, and PaaS services such as Azure SQL, SQL MI, WVD etc.

· Contribute to deployment of third-party solutions such as Veeam for back-up and DR, third party firewalls such as Palo Alto and Barracuda, etc.

· Be aware of Cloud Adoption Frameworks, the NSCS cybersecurity guidelines and cloud considerations for security and compliance.

· 5 or more years of experience doing application and/or infrastructure solution architecture

· 3 or more years of experience building cloud architecture within Azure using Terraform

· Experience and understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Automation, and Orchestration

· Experience deploying web and service-based applications in Windows/Linux environments

· Experience writing effective PowerShell scripts, ARM templates, YAML and other Azure DevOps related artifacts.

· Experience with monitoring tools, such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor

· Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular), RESTful APIs, JSON and XML formats is a plus

· Familiar with libraries like React, Angular

· General understanding of Microservices, such as Docker, Kubernetes preferred

· Deep understanding of firewalls, NAT and packet filtering required]

· Great working knowledge of IP networking, VPN’s, DNS, and load balancing General understanding of CMS applications, .Net Framework and/or .Net Core Strong desire to learn new technologies

· Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with limited supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Participating in the work of an integrated project team comprised of multiple technical disciplines, specifically including developers, subject matter experts, database administrators, system administrators, and system architects to implement and maintain enterprise-level information technology applications in the cloud.

· Use of Microsoft Azure and Terraform/ARM/PowerShell to deploy highly available, scalable, and secure applications ibn the cloud

· Working with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables

· The Cloud DevOps Engineer is a cloud role in the project delivery cycle with hands-on experience migrating customers to the cloud and designing DevOps operational processes, deployment checklists, etc.

· Knowledge of the following technologies is required: Azure (Infrastructure, PaaS and DevOps), Linux, Windows Server, Networking skills, Active Directory Management,

· Knowledge of the following technologies is desirable: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and GitHub Enterprise Management


Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or engineering.

· Preferred certifications: AZ-303 and AZ-304
