Job Title: Guidance Specialist This position requires a professional who is adept at advising individuals on their academic goals and aspirations. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with students from diverse backgrounds, assess their needs, and provide suitable course recommendations. Key Responsibilities:Counseling Sessions: Conduct telephonic and online counselling sessions with prospective students, fostering a supportive environment for them to explore their academic interests.Student Needs Assessment: Evaluate candidates' educational background, career goals, and recommend appropriate courses that align with their objectives.Lead Conversion: Track and follow up on leads to convert inquiries into enrollments, ensuring a smooth transition for both the student and our institution.Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of student interactions in our CRM system, providing valuable insights for future improvements.Course Information: Provide accurate information about courses, fees, schedules, and learning outcomes to students, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through a consultative approach, focusing on delivering exceptional service and support.Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams for seamless enrollment and onboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications:Language Proficiency: Fluency in Odia, Hindi, and English is mandatory for effective communication with students.Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with students and colleagues alike.Sales-oriented Mindset: A sales-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve targets is crucial for driving conversions and meeting performance expectations.Ed-Tech Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of the Ed-Tech domain is preferred, but not required.Basic Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency and experience with CRM tools are necessary for efficient record keeping and data analysis. Preferred Background:Experience in Ed-Tech: Experience in Ed-Tech, Inside Sales, Telesales, or Educational Counselling is highly desirable.Proven Track Record: Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales/counselling targets are preferred.
