Key Responsibilities:
UI5 Application Development:
- Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using SAP UI5 framework.
- Work with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies to design engaging user interfaces.
- Implement Fiori design principles to create intuitive, user-friendly applications.
- Use MVC (Model-View-Controller) design pattern to separate business logic from the UI layer.
Integration with SAP BTP:
- Leverage SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Business Application Studio, and SAP Fiori Launchpad to build end-to-end applications.
- Integrate the SAP UI5 applications with SAP back-end systems like SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and other cloud and on-premise SAP solutions.
- Utilize SAP BTP’s RESTful services and APIs to connect front-end applications to back-end data sources and workflows.
User Interface Design & Customization:
- Create customized Fiori-based user interfaces using SAP UI5 for role-based access and business process flows.
- Customize standard SAP Fiori apps according to client-specific requirements.
- Apply UI5 extensions and custom controls when needed to enhance user experience.
- Collaboration & Agile Development:
- Work collaboratively with SAP back-end developers, business analysts, and UX/UI designers in an agile environment.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Performance Optimization:
- Optimize UI5 applications for better performance, ensuring scalability, load times, and responsiveness across devices.
- Implement UI5 best practices for efficient use of data binding, templates, and controls.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure applications are stable and meet business requirements.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure functional testing, performance testing, and integration testing are completed successfully.
Documentation & Maintenance:
- Document code and development procedures, ensuring clear, maintainable, and up-to-date technical documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the applications post-deployment, including troubleshooting and bug fixes.
