Job Description Job Title: Senior Automation TesterLocation: Bengaluru (Hybrid)Experience: 7–10 yearsEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with extensive experience in Playwright to lead and enhance our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks using Playwright.Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA engineers in automation best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality standards.Drive automation strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for complex web applications.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.Analyze test results, identify root causes, and ensure timely defect resolution.Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies in automation testing. Qualifications7–10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.Proven hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Experience with Agile methodologies and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to lead projects and manage priorities effectively.Educational QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory).Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
