Job Title: Linux System AdministratorLocation: Bangalore, IndiaDescription:We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team. As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our SUSE servers, as well as managing IBM, DELL, Lenovo Fujitsu and HP HANA appliance servers.You will also be responsible for building and reimaging SUSE Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments, managing Linux virtual machines configured in ESX environments, and providing Level 3 support to customers and managing the antivirus environment.In addition, you will be responsible for patching and OS upgrades on SUSE servers, as well as having exposure on DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, Email services.You will also have knowledge on SAN or NAS environment, RAID, LVM, and clusters and package management.A good understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing and Name Resolution is required.Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues is essential.You will also have a good understanding of OS Concepts on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, LDAP, high availability and disaster recovery concepts, Monitoring etc.Knowledge in configuration management systems such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible is desirable.AWS Skills: Experience with EBS,EFS, VPC, Elastic Beanstalk, SNS, Cloud watch, S3, EC2, Auto scaling, CloudFront, ELB etc. Hands on NSG & NACL, Firewall management is required.You will be responsible for creating and managing EC2 instances using VPCs. AWS EC2 CLI Tools for auto-scaling of instances, backup management, s3 management is required.Azure Skills: Thorough knowledge on Azure platforms IAAS, PaaS.A deep understanding of Cloud Computing and various deployment methodologies is required.Ability to design application and deployment architecture from On-premise to Cloud is essential.Provided architectural guidance for Azure solutions is desirable.Strong knowledge of Azure App services, Azure Resource Manager (ARM Templates) is required.A good understanding of Azure storage options is necessary.A good understanding of Azure networking like VNETS, NSGs , ExpressRoute, site-to-site and point-to-site connections is required.A strong Knowledge on Security options in Azure is necessary.Hand on experience on Windows PowerShell is desirable.AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / AZ-300 Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies is required.
