What Your Role Entails To understand Electrical and Electronic related requirements for commercial air conditioners and Inverter Heat pump product range of Blue Star Ltd from respective Project leader and translate these product requirements into detailed Software and Hardware specifications and design and develop this Controller and Control Panel. What You’ll Do: Specification Development: Interact with Marketing team / Project Leader to gather and design Controller Hardware and Software specifications based on System requirements. Component Selection and design calculation: Selection of Controller and other related components based on requirement. Design and derating calculation based on defined standards. Controller & Drive development: Design and Development of controllers, drive, user interface and special controls for commercial air conditioners and Inverter Heat pump products based on Inhouse / Bought out strategy. Controller qualification: Controller verification and validation as per product application, its integration with the system and ensuring EMI/EMC compliance including conducted emission and radiated emission test. Statutory Standard Compliance: Ensure to follow all required statutory standards like required for product development. Technology Developments: Must be aware of latest developments related to Electronics and implement suitable technologies in Blue Star Products. Technical Interaction / Support: Interact with various CFT members like Vendor development, Manufacturing, Marketing, Service team during Project Execution. To give training to manufacturing team, service team and vendors for any new Controllers / Control Panels Your success is grounded in Educational Background: You should hold a BE Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering. Experience: A proven track record of 6-10 years experience in HVAC field or similar appliance domain and in Product development field. Experience in Heat pump product is preferable Technical Acumen: Exposure to Embedded Controller Design Inverter based design for BLDC Fan motor and Compressor Good Product design knowledge and extensive experience for controller integration with system. Experience in communication protocol interface between multiple controllers (Like Modbus RS485) Knowledge of and Exposure to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatible (EMC) and other controller tests Understanding of all Statutory standards along with safety standards applicable for Controller developments like UL, CE, etc. Good knowledge of Refrigeration cycle and HVAC fundamentals Excellent Project Management skills Where you’ll be This role is based in Hinjewadi, Pune, India (Initial few months is based out of Kapurbawdi, Thane) At Blue Star, you are not just another employee; you're part of a vibrant community that values innovation, dedication, and teamwork.
