Job Title: IBDP CoordinatorSchool: 10X International School, MysuruLocation: Mysuru, KarnatakaReporting To: School PrincipalJob SummaryThe IBDP Coordinator will be responsible for the leadership, administration, and development of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at 10X International School. The coordinator will ensure the effective implementation of the IBDP curriculum, support teachers and students, and act as the main liaison between the school and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The role requires strong leadership, curriculum expertise, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme Leadership and AdministrationProvide pedagogical leadership for the IBDP, ensuring alignment with IB standards and best practices.​Oversee curriculum development, planning, and assessment for all IBDP subjects.​Act as the primary point of contact with the IBO for all IBDP-related matters.​Ensure compliance with IB regulations and facilitate regular internal reviews and updates to curriculum documents.​Manage the IBDP assessment calendar and coordinate the administration of internal and external examinations.​Organize and manage the IBDP budget, including resource allocation and professional development.​Teacher Support and Professional DevelopmentSupport and mentor IBDP teachers, ensuring they are suitably qualified and trained in accordance with IB requirements.​Organize and coordinate ongoing professional development for IBDP staff, including workshops and training sessions.​Facilitate collaborative planning and inquiry-based learning among IBDP teachers.​Student Management and SupportMonitor student progress, academic performance, and holistic development within the IBDP.​Oversee student placements, transition programs, and support for students with special assessment needs.​Promote the IB Learner Profile and values within the school community.​Communication and Stakeholder EngagementDisseminate IBDP information and updates to staff, students, parents, and the wider school community.​Promote the IBDP to prospective students and parents through presentations and communications.​Maintain accurate student records and coordinate the registration of students as examination candidates.​Curriculum and AssessmentEnsure the quality assurance of teaching and learning in the IBDP, providing pedagogical leadership and support.​Oversee the assessment calendar, manage student workloads, and minimize conflicts.​Ensure that all internal assessment materials are sent to respective examiners and that examination answer scripts are submitted on time.​Qualifications and ExperienceEducationPhD in a relevant field (preferably Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering).​ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in the IB curriculum as a faculty member, professor, or coordinator.​Minimum 3 years of experience as an IBDP Coordinator.​SkillsStrong leadership and management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using IB online platforms (IBIS, OCC, My School, etc.) for program management.​Ability to lead, implement, and adapt curriculum development processes in line with IB standards.​Skilled at working collaboratively with educators, administrators, and program coordinators to ensure cohesive program implementation.​Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges in program delivery, student management, and staff development.​Additional RequirementsOpen to relocating to Mysuru.​Strong commitment to the IB philosophy and values.​Ability to work collaboratively with the school leadership team and other stakeholders.Job Type: Full-timePay: From ₹150,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
