We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to assist with the design and drafting of site servicing plans, site grading plans, and other civil engineering projects.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in land development, residential, commercial, and industrial projects including site servicing, site grading, stormwater management design, construction services, and water resource modeling using HEC-RAS for floodplain analysis.As a Civil Designer, you will work closely with Project Engineers to complete design drawings according to local standards and project specifications.Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipmentCoordinate project drawings with Project Engineer and othersEnsure that project needs are met in a timely and effective mannerCandidate should have intermediate to senior-level proficiency in following civil design skills:Site Servicing: water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, storm drainageSite gradingsEarthworks cut and fill material estimatesCreating pipe system networksGenerating plans and profiles, cross section viewsTechnical skills in Civil 3D Software is mandatory for this role.Required Skills and QualificationsOur ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills in:Civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3DWater resource modeling using HEC-RASStormwater management designSite servicing and gradingConstruction servicesA strong understanding of local building codes and regulations is also essential.BenefitsOur team offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment, providing opportunities for growth and professional development.If you are a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Designer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
