AC Technician

Job SummaryThe HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the hotel. The role supports guest comfort, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), exhaust fans, split units, and VRF/VRV systems.Monitor and adjust temperature controls and building management systems (BMS) to ensure optimal comfort and energy efficiency.Conduct preventive maintenance according to the hotel's maintenance schedule and manufacturer recommendations.Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems and perform corrective repairs.Replace or clean air filters, belts, bearings, and other HVAC components.Calibrate thermostats, sensors, and control systems.Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance activities, and parts usage.Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests related to air conditioning, heating, or ventilation.Assist in energy conservation initiatives and recommend improvements for HVAC efficiency.Ensure all work complies with local safety, environmental, and building codes.Support other maintenance and engineering tasks when required.
