Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of Large Language Model (LLM) Document AI solutions. This individual will be responsible for owning AI services in production, mentoring junior engineers, and working directly with clients.Key ResponsibilitiesOwning the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features – from requirement understanding and solution design to development, deployment, and monitoring.Building LLM/RAG-based solutions using vector databases (e.g., pgvector, FAISS, Chroma, OpenSearch) for search, OCR, extraction, and summarization over documents.Developing Document AI models/pipelines for OCR post-processing, entity/key-value extraction, classification, and layout/table understanding.Deploying models as scalable APIs/microservices in cloud and on-prem environments using Python, Docker, and CI/CD.Working directly with client stakeholders to refine requirements, present solutions, and handle reviews/clarifications.Serving as technical lead on 2-3 AI projects, guiding the team on architecture, design, and best practices.Mentoring junior ML engineers via code reviews, design discussions, and technical coaching.Designing with security, privacy, and cost in mind, especially for data-sensitive domains (BFSI, healthcare, legal, HR).About This RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for a talented AI Engineer to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our AI initiatives.
