Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned backend development leader to spearhead full-stack projects, architect scalable solutions, and drive technical excellence. If you have experience working with modern frameworks, eCommerce platforms, and complex integrations, we'd like to hear from you.About the RoleAs a senior backend developer, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our systems, guiding a team of engineers, and delivering high-performance applications. You will work on integrations, custom solutions, and platforms like Magento, WordPress, and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesBackend Development: Lead the development of our backend systems using PHP and modern frameworks like Laravel.System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable systems that meet business requirements.Integration Management: Manage system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services to ensure seamless data exchange.Project Oversight: Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and implement best practices to ensure high-quality code.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery and to ensure alignment with business objectives.Performance Optimization: Ensure performance optimization, code quality, and effective documentation to support business growth.Preferred Qualifications5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel.Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify.Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks.Proficiency in:PHP, Laravel, Java.ReactJS, Node.js.MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB.CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git).Cloud platforms, especially AWS.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to handle multiple clients.Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
