Our organization is on the lookout for a seasoned software engineer with exceptional expertise in various programming languages and methodologies.This role involves developing apps for diverse platforms, including iOS and Android, as well as working with dynamic data using services like JSON and XML. We're looking for someone with experience in waterfall and/or agile software methodologies, along with knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data, experience with Data Modeling, Networking, and Push Notification frameworks, and active contributions to OSS projects. Additionally, they should have relevant technology certifications and experience developing apps supporting UI for varying screen sizes.We're also seeking someone with experience packaging and publishing applications on the App Store, as well as working knowledge and experience of SOA using RESTful web services and API platform integrations. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of latest trends in mobile and web technologies, as well as demonstrated ability to anticipate future software engineering opportunities.They should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business terms. Leadership experience in a sourced environment is highly desirable.6-8 years' experience in software development with expert-level expertise in multiple programming languages and methodologiesExperience developing apps for diverse platforms (iOS or Android)Excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data using services (e.g., JSON, XML, REST APIs etc.)Experience with Data Modeling, Networking, and Push Notification frameworksActive contributions to OSS projectsRelevant technology certificationsExperience developing apps supporting UI for varying screen sizes (e.g. phones and tablets)Experience with 3rd Party SDK integrations and other open-source librariesExperience packaging and publishing applications on the App StoreWorking knowledge and experience of SOA using RESTful web services and API platform integrationsExperience with iOS analytics, crash reporting, testing and other peripheral frameworksUnderstanding of latest trends in mobile and web technologiesDemonstrated understanding of mobile industry trends, development products and environments as well as best practices for mobile application design and developmentDemonstrated ability to anticipate future software engineering opportunitiesTechnology leadership experience in a sourced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business termsAbility to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls and leading in a managed service environment
