DevOps Engineer

Note: Need immediate Joiners or who can join in a week.Job Title: DevOps Engineer (GCP, Python, Golang)Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python scripting, and Golang to design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving automation, improving deployment efficiency, and ensuring high availability and reliability of enterprise applications in a dynamic, cloud-first environment.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Infrastructure Management:Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build, and Cloud Monitoring.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager to ensure consistency, repeatability, and version-controlled environments.CI/CD Pipeline Development & Automation:Build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, integrated with GCP and source control systems.Automate build, test, deployment, and rollback processes to enable rapid, reliable, and secure software releases.Scripting & Tooling:Develop and maintain Python and Golang scripts to automate repetitive tasks, manage cloud resources, monitor system health, and streamline operations.Create custom tools for log aggregation, data processing, security scanning, and infrastructure provisioning.Containerization & Orchestration:Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments via Kubernetes (GKE), ensuring high availability, auto-scaling, and efficient resource utilization.Implement Helm charts for packaging and managing complex applications in Kubernetes environments.Security & Compliance:Enforce security best practices across cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).Monitoring, Logging & Observability:Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting using Google Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver), Prometheus, and Grafana.Implement centralized logging with Fluentd/Fluent Bit and integrate with logging platforms for real-time insights and troubleshooting.Collaboration & Innovation:Partner with development, security, and operations teams to drive DevOps culture, improve system reliability, and accelerate delivery cycles.Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, automation trends, and industry best practices.Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, cloud operations, or site reliability engineering.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with proven experience in GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, IAM, and VPC networking.Strong scripting abilities in Python and Golang for automation and tool development.Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, Fluentd).Understanding of security principles, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proactive mindset with a passion for automation, efficiency, and system reliability.Note: Need immediate Joiners or who can join in a week.
