Job Title: Workday Functional Test AnalystLocation: Remote (offshore)Duration: Contract Job Description: Job DescriptionThe Workday Functional Test Analyst focuses on testing and quality assurance for multiple Workday modules, ensuring accurate configurations and business processes through thorough testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Testing & Quality AssuranceExecute test cases for Workday implementations and enhancements.Perform unit, integration, regression, and/or user acceptance testing (UAT) across Workday modules.Document and track defects, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve issues.Validate Workday configurations and business processes against functional requirements.Functional Analysis & SupportPartner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.Translate business needs into functional specifications and Workday configuration requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues within Workday.Maintain detailed documentation of test results, configuration changes, and process flows.Provide regular status updates and testing metrics to project teams.Collaborate with HRIS, HRBP’s, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, IT, integration specialists, and external consultants.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.3+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Analyst or similar role.Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Workday Test Framework, Smartsheet or third-party testing platforms).Strong understanding of Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Talent, and Recruiting.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies is a plus.PREFERRED SKILLSWorkday Pro Certification or equivalent Workday training.Experience with Workday Reporting (Custom Reports, Calculated Fields).Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other ticketing systems.
