Summary Company: Skalegrow Private Limited Position: Off-page SEO Specialist Location: Bangalore Experience: 2+ years Job type: Full-time CTC: 4.2 LPA Overview Skalegrow is a B2B marketing agency that helps companies in the IT, tech, SaaS, robotics, and embedded systems industries grow with marketing. This position will focus solely on improving the off-page SEO performance of Skalegrow’s clients by building high-quality backlinks and strengthening domain authority and overall search visibility. Note: Please read the job description completely and apply only if you think the role fits you. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute off-page SEO activities for Skalegrow’s clients. Build high-quality backlinks through tactics such as guest posting, resource link building, PR & brand mentions, paid link placements (as applicable), directory submissions, forum participation, niche communities, Q&A platforms, broken link building, etc. Build and nurture relationships with publishers, bloggers, and webmasters to secure contextual backlinks. Conduct competitive backlink analysis and identify opportunities to strengthen clients’ backlink profiles. Evaluate websites for link-building suitability using metrics such as domain rating (DR), topical relevance, traffic, and spam score. Monitor, analyze, and report backlink progress using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, etc. Ensure all link-building activities align with Google’s quality guidelines and avoid harmful or spammy link-building practices. Support Skalegrow’s internal off-page SEO activities as and when required. Desired Skills and Qualifications 2+ years of experience exclusively in off-page SEO and link building . Strong understanding of white-hat link-building best practices. Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, etc. Ability to identify high-quality backlink opportunities with attention to detail. Experience in the B2B space (either in an agency or a B2B company) is preferred. Excellent communication and outreach skills for collaborating with publishers, editors, and website owners.
