Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Desktop Support specialist to investigate systemic issues affecting end-user experience, implement solutions to increase productivity, and collaborate with business partners to understand needs and pain points.Main Responsibilities:Troubleshoot desktop-related issues efficiently through advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Utilize deep understanding of Desktop Experience (DEX) to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline desktop management tasks.Work closely with IT teams for seamless integration and support of desktop systems.Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing technical concerns and training on best practices.Key Requirements:7-10 years of experience in Windows desktop engineering or a related field.Subject matter expert in Windows OS internals, including kernel, registry, services, drivers, etc.Working knowledge of OS-level troubleshooting tools.Experience with Unified Endpoint Management tool for managing domain and Entra Windows devices.Strong background in DEX tools for measuring endpoint performance, correlating issues with changes, and user experience optimization.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell for automation.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
