Job SummaryWe are seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the import and export operations of our organization. This role will be responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.Main ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage logistics operations to meet business objectivesOversee the creation and implementation of best practices in logisticsLiaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, Customs, and customersPrepare and review documentation, including commercial invoices, Packing List, Bills of lading, COO, etc.Monitor and report on import and export costs, duties, taxes, and freight chargesEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, such as customs laws and trade agreementsEnsure carrier performance and compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or deliveryKeep records of all export-import shipments along with documentsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunitiesDeliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirementsKey QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field3 to 7 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on import/export, trucking, and ocean freightExperience in a manufacturing company importing raw materials and exporting finished goodsStrong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance documentationExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat We OfferCompetitive salary100% employer contribution for medical/dental/vision insurance
