Job Title: Financial Planning and Business InsightsFinancial Planning and Business Insights:The Financial Planning and Business Insights Analyst plays a key role in evaluating strategic financial decisions by leveraging strong analytical skills, working with large datasets, and presenting insights to stakeholders company-wide.Key responsibilities include conducting detailed variance analysis on revenues, expenses, and margins for both prior year and budget comparisons across multiple entities and on a consolidated basis.The analyst will also assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for senior leadership.Additional tasks include analyzing data to highlight actionable insights, assisting with data transformation from various systems, ensuring data integrity across reports, and maintaining and improving financial reporting processes.A critical component of this role is creating reporting dashboards using PowerBI to help visualize performance.Finally, the analyst will aid in the creation and management of the annual budget and provide ad-hoc analysis as required by the finance team.Required Skills and Qualifications:3 – 5 years' experience in Finance and/or Accounting.Relevant college degree.Experience with detailed variance analysis.Proficiency in Excel, with experience using NetSuite/Odoo a plus.Known Abilities:Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Highly proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
