Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Engineer to join our team in a core technical, lab-focused role.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the test floor, working with equipment, and diving into data to understand how and why materials/components behave the way they do.Key Responsibilities:Conduct mechanical tests (e.g. tension, compression, bending, shear, hardness, impact, etc.) as per relevant standards and internal proceduresAssist in setting up test rigs, fixtures, sensors and data acquisition systemsPrepare test specimens, ensure correct mounting/alignment, and run trials as requiredSupport development and refinement of test methods and fixturesRecord, validate and analyse test data with high accuracyUse basic statistical tools and engineering calculations to interpret resultsPrepare clear, concise test reports with data, graphs and technical conclusionsMaintain proper documentation and traceability for all tests performedOperate and perform basic troubleshooting on mechanical testing equipment (e.g. UTM, impact testers, hardness testers, etc.)Follow preventive maintenance and calibration schedules as guided by the QA teamAdhere to quality system requirements and maintain a clean, safe and organised work areaExecute tests in line with applicable Indian and global standards
