Technical Operations Lead Position OverviewAs a seasoned technical operations professional, you will lead and guide a team of highly skilled engineers in a fast-paced, 24x7 production environment. Your expertise in Linux system administration, incident management, and cross-functional coordination will be invaluable assets to our organization.This role demands a proactive leader who can manage escalations, ensure system uptime, and drive operational excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the technical operations team, including monitoring systems, responding to alerts, and resolving technical issues.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of technical operations engineersGuide the team in handling critical situations and high-severity incidentsManage and resolve L2/L3 technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolutionHandle customer escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely resolutionEscalate critical issues through the appropriate hierarchical channelsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and infrastructureMonitor systems using industry-standard tools and respond to alerts proactivelyRequired Skills & Qualifications:8–12 years of experience in technical operations or system administrationProven experience in leading and managing technical teamsStrong Linux administration skills (command-line, scripting, troubleshooting)Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (beyond basic level)Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.)Experience in incident management and root cause analysisFamiliarity with ITIL processes and escalation managementExperience in production deployment and release managementWorking knowledge of Hadoop and distributed systemsBasic knowledge of Docker and AnsibleBenefits: As a key member of our technical operations team, you will have opportunities for career growth and professional development.
