Job Title: Atlassian AdministratorLocation: RemoteWork Hours: Primarily IST with overlap into PSTThis role is an immediate joiner opportunity, allowing you to start working on your new project straight away.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud experience is a mandatory requirement for this position.Expertise in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence & ServiceDesk is essential.Rich stakeholder and end-user management experience, including training & support, is highly valued.The ability to migrate data from various platforms, such as JIRA to JIRA, Confluence to JIRA, Gitlab to JIRA/Confluence, Rally to Jira, Zendesk to Jira etc., is required.Experience with key Atlassian plugins such as Portfolio, BigPicture, Zephyr, Tempo, Structure, Auditor, Configuration Manager etc., is beneficial.Skills in customising workflows, automation, reporting, and user directory management are highly desirable.Tools proficiency in JavaScript/JQuery, Groovy, Java, C++; Build-CI (Jenkins/Maven); Jira REST API/Jira SDK/Plugins, ITIL, Helpdesk, Zendesk, ServiceNow is expected.Ability to work effectively in applications like Zendesk, ServiceNow / Slack / MS Office/GSuite is necessary.Collecting and documenting relevant data related to issue nature is a key responsibility.Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills, are essential.Demonstrated ability to multi-task, including solid time management skills, is required.Managing, troubleshooting, and optimising Jira workflows, fields, issue types, permissions, notifications, filters, boards, dashboards is crucial.Identifying areas for improvement, optimisation, and consolidation is a key aspect of the job.Advising Corporate Engineering & other teams on best practices for Jira, Confluence is an important responsibility.Communicating and sharing knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels is necessary.The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking, structured problem solver who is passionate about optimising configurations to maximise employee experience. They will manage and monitor multiple SaaS applications and play an active role in designing the portfolio of applications available for use.
