Senior Financial Operations Manager

Job Overview:The Manager of Financial Operations will oversee and manage the accounting functions within a company. This role requires expertise in construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.This position is responsible for all aspects of the accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets.Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Key Responsibilities:Day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Coordinate and facilitate the construction draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Provide management with information vital to decision-making.Requirements:1. CA / CPA with 8-10 years of experience in the real estate/construction industry.2. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.3. Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.4. Must have excellent work ethic, high integrity, and excellent follow-up skills.5. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills in decision making.6. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.7. Demonstrated leadership and management skills.8. Superior ability to track and meet deadlines, focused on overcoming obstacles.9. High level of computer skills, including extensive experience with Yardi or similar real estate accounting systems.10. Ability to take initiative and manage teams effectively.
