Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and managing data pipelines using modern tools and platforms within the Azure ecosystem.This role involves leading the migration of large-scale SQL workloads from on-premise environments to Azure, ensuring high data integrity, minimal downtime, and performance optimization. Key responsibilities include building end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Synapse Data Factory, creating and administering scalable, secure Azure Data Lakes for structured and unstructured data storage, and utilizing Azure Databricks, Synapse Spark Pools, Python, and PySpark for advanced data transformation and processing.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, focusing on SQL workload migration to Azure. They should have deep expertise in Azure Data Factory / Synapse Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks / Synapse Spark Pools, Python, and PySpark, SSIS – design, development, and migration to Azure, and a proven track record of delivering complex data migration projects.We require excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present migration strategies to stakeholders are also essential.Data Pipeline Design: Develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Synapse Data FactoryAzure Data Lake Administration: Build and administer scalable, secure Azure Data Lakes to store and manage structured and unstructured dataAdvanced Data Processing: Utilize Azure Databricks, Synapse Spark Pools, Python, and PySpark for advanced data transformation and processingSQL Script Development: Develop and fine-tune SQL/T-SQL scripts for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and reporting in Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instances, and SQL Server
