Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in multimodal machine learning, with hands-on experience in working with two or more modalities (Text + Vision or Text + Audio or Vision + Audio).Design, build, and deploy ML models into production-grade environments.Set up MLOps pipelines for continuous training, monitoring, and versioning.Automate data processing workflows, model deployment, and CI/CD processes.Translate business needs into ML solutions through close collaboration with engineering and product teams.Implement model performance monitoring and alerting systems.Optimize ML workloads for scalability, cost, and performance in cloud environments.Maintain best practices in security, governance, and reproducibility.Mandatory RequirementsHands-on experience in Multimodality: candidates must have worked with at least two modalities (Text + Vision or Text + Audio or Vision + Audio).Practical experience working on multimodal pipelines, model building, or fine-tuning – not just using APIs.At least 2 years of hands-on work in multimodal ML, computer vision, or audio ML.Strong Computer Vision experience required for Rockets project roles.The CV should clearly reflect experience in:Image processing / vision-based MLAudio AI (if applicable)Multimodal architectures, datasets, or projectsDesirable SkillsExperience with Generative AI, diffusion models, transformers, or similar.Exposure to GPU training, model optimization, and large-scale datasets.We seek candidates who can commit to approximately ~35 hours of work per week.
