Job SummaryAs a professional in the field of SMT Programming, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely delivery of programs within established times. This involves collaborating with the Cell to introduce new products and existing improvements.Key duties include:Complying with program requests in accordance with new product introductions in each workcell.Maintaining a variation of +/- 1% of quoted time in SMT programs according to specifications set monthly.Providing assistance in modification, optimization, and line balancing requests by ME's and MS's as required.Updating all SMT backup information monthly.Implementing the MES QM system use in the area of manufacturing engineering in accordance with new product introductions set by upper management.Ensuring -0- discrepancies in the definition or adjustment of internal systems as new platforms for SMT equipment are installed.Delivering training to manufacturing engineering technicians on generating programs and visual aids using Valor software.Training Manufacturing Engineers in generating process routes in the MES system.Implementing at least one Engineering improvement project.Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
