We are committed to complying with all federal, state, and local laws providing equal employment opportunities, and all other employment laws and regulations.It is our intent to maintain a work environment that is free of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation based on an individual's race, color, religion, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, age, sexual orientation, veteran and/or military status, protected medical leaves, domestic violence victim status, political affiliation, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local laws.Job DescriptionThe role will involve the following critical activities:Member of the Tax Compliance team supporting for the tax management of both the fund entities and various special purpose vehiclesWork closely with the accounting team and fund administrator (SEI) to ensure all essential financial data is provided to external tax preparers for 1099 reporting, 8832 filing.Ensure timely and accurate federal, state/local and foreign income tax filings, withholding tax reporting, as well as Schedule K-1, Schedule K-3 and Form 1042-S reporting to investorsUnderstand fund and investment level tax structuring and ensure proper tax reporting.Assist in the daily tax management of fund entities as well as tax planning and restructuring of investments including evaluation of asset write-offs.Manage collection of external flow-through Schedule K-1's from lower-tier investmentsReview tax workpapers for partnerships and corporations: book/tax differences, allocations, state tax calculations as well as tax analysis on various financial transactions.Review federal, state/local and foreign income and informational tax returns for partnership, trust, and corporate entitiesPrepare/review quarterly withholding and estimated tax payments.Work with tax advisors and colleagues to continually review and implement process improvements utilizing technology solutions.Assist in the coding of assets for tax characteristics including state sourcing.Assist in various recurring tax projects such as FBAR, FATCA, CRS, State Composite Elections, etc.Liaising with tax advisers in different jurisdictions, including but not limited to, US, UK, India, HK and Ireland.Looking for:Must Have:8+ years of experience; Public Accounting, Financial Services, Hedge Fund or Private Equity experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player across the Finance organization.Good to have:Good understanding of Investment Banking & Hedge Fund industry.Worked on automation process.Experience in MIS and KPI reporting.Previous experience with Geneva accounting system a plus.Working knowledge of Alteryx, an advantage.Job RequirementLooking for:Must Have:8+ years of experience; Public Accounting, Financial Services, Hedge Fund or Private Equity experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player across the Finance organization.Good to have:Good understanding of Investment Banking & Hedge Fund industry.Worked on automation process.Experience in MIS and KPI reporting.Previous experience with Geneva accounting system a plus.Working knowledge of Alteryx, an advantage.
