Job Description: Backend Developer


Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Redis, ORM and database management. Experience with containerization using Docker and cloud services such as AWS (S3, CloudFront, EC2, ECS) is crucial for this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Backend Development:

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions using TypeScript and Node.js.


  • Database Management:

Manage both NoSQL and SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

Implement and maintain ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) for effective data handling.


  • Authentication and Authorization:

Implement user authentication using Firebase Auth.

Ensure proper authorization mechanisms are in place for secure access control.


  • Containerization:

Utilize Docker for containerization, allowing for consistent deployment across various environments.


  • Cloud Services:

Work with AWS services for application deployment and various backend needs.


Requirements:


  • Technical Skills:

Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js for backend development.

Able to work with Git

Strong database skills, including Google Firestore, PostgreSQL, Redis Cache, and ORM implementation.


  • Authentication and Authorization:

Familiarity with Firebase Authentication and secure access control mechanisms.


  • Containerization and Cloud Services:

Experience with Docker for containerization.

Familiarity with AWS services, including S3, CloudFront, EC2, and ECS.


  • Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with frontend developers to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.


Experience:

  • 3 years of proven experience in backend development and database management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects of varying scales and deliver high-quality code within deadlines.


Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
