Job Title: L2 Resource – Symantec Encryption

Location: Noida

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced L2-level professional to manage and support Symantec Encryption solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Symantec Endpoint Encryption, drive incident resolution, and ensure compliance with data protection policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Symantec Encryption Management
• Administer and maintain Symantec Endpoint Encryption across endpoints and servers
• Monitor encryption status and troubleshoot deployment issues
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide L2-level support for encryption-related incidents and service requests
• Collaborate with L1 and L3 teams for escalations and root cause analysis
• Reporting & Compliance
• Generate regular compliance and encryption status reports
• Ensure adherence to organizational data protection and security policies
• Patch & Upgrade Management
• Assist in version upgrades, patch deployments, and configuration changes
• Validate post-deployment functionality and rollback plans
• Stakeholder Coordination
• Work with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and product optimization
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in IT security or endpoint management
• Strong hands-on experience with Symantec Endpoint Encryption
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Good understanding of encryption protocols and data protection standards
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Symantec Certified Specialist, Security+) preferred

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other Symantec security products (e.g., DLP, SEP)
• Exposure to enterprise-level deployment and automation tools
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
