We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our design team at Pepper. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of industry-standard design tools, including Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. As a Junior Graphic Designer/ Intern you will work closely with senior designers to assist in the creation of visual assets for digital and print media, marketing campaigns, websites, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of visual content for both digital and print platforms.
- Collaborate with the design team to create social media graphics, web banners, email templates, thumbnails and other marketing materials.
- Produce high-quality vector illustrations and artwork in Adobe Illustrator.
- Edit and retouch photos, create mockups, and manipulate images using Adobe Photoshop.
- Ensure consistency in design across all company platforms and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for various projects.
- Maintain and organize design assets and files for easy access and team collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and emerging tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
- Ability to work under the guidance of senior designers and adapt feedback.
- Understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of UI/UX, basic motion graphics is a plus.
- Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs (e.g., InDesign, After Effects) is a bonus.
- Experience with design in a marketing or advertising setting.
