About us, a company revolutionizing tax and accounting with AI-driven solutions for professionals.We aim to balance government regulation with innovation, providing tools for businesses to succeed without cumbersome processes.We are a hub for continuous learning and innovation, encouraging curiosity, growth, and mastery of technology.The team believes in exploring new technologies, pushing limits, and sharing knowledge to shape the future of AI.We offer a remote job opportunity as Tax Research Specialist Intern.Key Responsibilities:Daily Tax Research & ValidationResearch U.S. federal tax laws, IRS regulations, notices, revenue rulings, and tax court cases.Verify answers generated by the AI co-pilot for correctness and completeness.Provide citations, reasoning, and clarifications for inaccurate or incomplete outputs.Application TestingTest the tax research product with real-world scenarios, queries, forms, and business situations.Identify system errors, gaps in reasoning, or missing information.Work closely with the engineering team to refine workflows, tax logic, and prompt patterns.Understanding IRS ProcessesReview IRS publications (Pub 15, Pub 525, Pub 463, etc.) and ensure product alignment.Analyze changes in tax laws, credits, deductions, and filing requirements.Maintain an up-to-date internal knowledge base.Scenario BuildingCreate test cases covering individual taxation (1040, credits, deductions, AMT), business taxation (1120, 1065, payroll taxes), sales tax & state-level issues, and tax planning scenarios.CollaborationWork closely with our leadership team to ensure accurate tax interpretation.Translate tax rules into simple, structured logic that can be used by the AI system.Provide actionable feedback on product features and improvements.
