Job OverviewAs a key figure in strategic planning, you will report directly to the Senior Leader of the respective project. This includes both capital and expense projects of transmission grid, which entails construction of transmission lines, sub-stations, and execution of smart grid solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure that project plans are in sync with the organization's strategic objectives and AOP. This involves regular coordination with teams such as engineering, procurement, and operations to align on goals and deliverables.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. Communicate project progress, risks, and changes effectively to ensure alignment and buy-in.Clear Communication Channels: Establish transparent communication pathways to ensure information flows seamlessly between all teams. Utilize project management software, collaborative platforms, and regular meetings to share updates, expectations, lessons learned, and feedback.Portfolio/Project Performance Tracking (Time, Cost, Quality, Risk):Performance Analysis: Monitor project performance against established metrics, providing regular updates and reports to senior management. Analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery while minimizing disruptions.Detailed Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards that highlight project status, risks, and performance against the AOP. Ensure these reports are tailored to the needs of different stakeholders, including the CEO, MD, and Chairman.Develop Strategic Reports for CEO/MD/Chairman Review:Executive Insights: Develop and present Management Information System (MIS) reports that provide valuable insights into project performance, financials, and alignment with strategic goals.Presentation Skills: Craft clear and concise presentations that effectively communicate complex information to senior leadership, facilitating informed decision-making.Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and Crisis Response:Crisis Preparedness: Develop and implement crisis management plans to address unexpected events that could disrupt operations. This includes establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and communication channels for the crisis management team and other stakeholders.Regulatory Alignment: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This involves staying updated on regulatory changes and integrating compliance requirements into project plans.Process Optimization and Improvement:Process Evaluation: Conduct thorough analysis of workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.Continuous Enhancement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to regularly review and refine processes. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
